Mailing list

Our mailing list runs on Mailchimp, a service provided by Intuit Inc. When you sign up we send a confirmation email; you are only added once you click the link in it. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

We record which page you signed up from, so we can tell what people find useful. We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone.

Bookings

Table reservations are handled by SevenRooms, which operates its own privacy policy as a data controller for the reservation data it holds. When you book through the widget on this site, the details you enter go to SevenRooms rather than to us directly. We see the reservation, and we receive marketing consent only where you have given it to them explicitly.

Cookies

We set one essential cookie to remember your cookie choices. Nothing else is set until you choose to allow it. Analytics, advertising measurement and embedded maps are all off by default. See our cookie policy for the full list, and to change your mind.

Who we share data with

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred, it is done under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an approved adequacy decision.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
have inaccurate data corrected
have your data deleted
object to or restrict how we use it
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it
ask us to send your data to another provider

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and you are on our mailing list, we will email you about it.
